Price:  Cost for eleven nights is $4,950 shared double occupancy. Additional cost for single occupancy is $900. The price includes all lodging, ground transportation in a luxury coach within Ireland, local Irish guides and teachers, entrances to sites, writing group facilitation and all meals with the exception of a few lunches and dinners on your own. Airfare arrangements and expenses are on your  own.  Group is limited to fourteen participants.

Registration:  This tour and retreat could fill quickly, so reserve your space as soon as possible.  To register, send an email to indicate your interest and we'll send you the Registration Packet.  Your space will be reserved with your $750 deposit and signed registration.

In the Event of Cancellation:

 

• Up to May 15, 2024 – Cancellation fee:  $750

• Up to July 15, 2024 –  Cancellation fee: 50% of tour cost

• After July 15, 2024  –  No refunds are possible.

Travel Insurance:  PLEASE NOTE that travel insurance is strongly encouraged for this trip. Travel insurance covers trip cancellation, trip interruption, trip delay, missed connection, lost baggage and delayed baggage, accident and sickness medical expense and emergency medical evacuation. This will be the only way for you to get a refund should you need to cancel. In addition to medical travel insurance, choose a plan that covers trip cancellation in case illness or injury prevents you from going on the trip. We recommend that you purchase it as soon as possible after registering for the tour, since pre-existing medical conditions are only covered if you purchase your travel insurance within two weeks of the time you first make a deposit and register for the trip.

Accommodations:  Arrangements will be provided as described in each tour.  The right is reserved to substitute hotels and sightseeing features listed in the itinerary for accommodations in similar categories. Shared rooms will have two beds, though a single double or king bed may be requested for couples.

 

Passport:  You are required to have a current passport to travel to Ireland. Application for new passports and renewals for existing passports will take up to ten weeks.   Information at:  https://travel.state.gov/content/passports/en/passports.html

Baggage:  Airline baggage allowance and fee structure is unique to each airline. You are responsible for those fees. We encourage you to fit everything into one suitcase and one carry-on.

Inclusions/Exclusions:  Tour price includes: Accommodations, deluxe motor coach within Ireland, all scheduled tours, entrance fees, local guides, writing facilitation, and all meals except for a few lunches and dinners on your own. Tour price does not include:  Transportation to and from Ireland; travel/airline/medical insurance; tips for items of a personal nature (such as room service beverages, meals, telephone and valet charges, etc.); transportation fees to meet the group if you are not able to arrive at 10:30 am Sun, Sept 8, 2024 at Dublin Airport; transportation to Dublin Airport if your departure flight leaves earlier than noon on Thur, Sep 19, 2024; Fees for passports and visas; laundry; telephone calls; wine, liquor, mineral water; personal items; excess baggage; foreign airport taxes.
