OUR ACCOMMODATIONS ...
We will stay in a hotel on the grounds of an ancient castle,
classic Irish Bed & Breakfasts, and a magnificent 18th century Georgian house
KILDARE: Kilkea Castle Hotel Located in the exquisite Irish countryside of Castledermot and set on 180 acres of woodland and gardens, Kilkea Castle dates from the 12th century, and is minutes from the ancient Mullaghreelan Woods. We will stay in the excellent new Lodges.
BEARA PENINSULA: Irish Bed & Breakfasts We will receive a warm Irish welcome at excellent B&Bs in the picturesque village of Eyeries, for a traditional Irish experience. We will gather to write at Anam Cara Writer's Centre, one of Ireland's premiere writing retreats, which will serve as our home base in Beara.
BOYNE VALLEY: Bellinter House One of our favorite places to stay in Ireland, Bellinter is an 18th century country house in the heart of the lush Boyne Valley. We will enjoy old-fashioned Irish hospitality from their wonderful staff in this elegant hotel situated on the ancient River Boyne.
Price: Cost includes all lodging, ground transportation within Ireland, local Irish guides and teachers, entrances to sites, writing group facilitation and all meals with the exception of a few lunches and dinners on your own. Cost for eleven nights is $3,850 shared double occupancy. Additional cost for single occupancy is $650. Airfare arrangements and expenses are on your own. Group is limited to twelve participants.
Registration: This tour and retreat could fill quickly, so reserve your space as soon as possible. To register, send an email to indicate your interest and we'll send you registration forms. Your space will be reserved with your $600 deposit and signed registration.

In the Event of Cancellation:
Up to May 15, 2019 – Cancellation fee: $600
Up to July 15, 2019 – Cancellation fee: $1,600
After July 15, 2019 – No refunds are possible.
Travel Insurance: Participants are highly encouraged to purchase travel insurance for the tour. Information regarding travel insurance will be made available to all participants. It covers trip cancellation, trip interruption, trip delay, missed connection, lost baggage and delayed baggage, accident and sickness medical expense and emergency medical evacuation. Please note that insurance for your airline travel is separate from this tour insurance, and is also recommended.
Accommodations: Arrangements will be provided as described in each tour. The right is reserved to substitute hotels and sightseeing features listed in the itinerary for accommodations in similar categories.
Baggage: Airline baggage allowance and fee structure is unique to each airline. You are responsible for those fees. We encourage you to fit everything into one suitcase and one carry-on.
Inclusions/Exclusions: Tour price includes: Accommodations, deluxe motor coach, all scheduled tours,
entrance fees, local guides, writing facilitation, and all meals except for two lunches and two dinners on your own. Tour price does not include: Transportation to and from Ireland; travel/airline/medical insurance; tips for items of a personal nature (such as room service beverages, meals, telephone and valet charges, etc.); transportation fees to meet the group if you are not able to arrive at 10:30 am Sat, Sept 13, 2019 at Dublin Airport; Fees for passports and visas; laundry; telephone calls; wine, liquor, mineral water; personal items; excess baggage; foreign airport taxes.
