This was a terrific afternoon! I read with the gifted poet Diane Frank for the Monterey Bay Poetry Consortium on July 10, 2022. My reading begins at 6:10 minutes. I shared new poems, showed some of my "Walking Cure" poetry and photography series, and read a brief excerpt from The Light of Ordinary Days.
READING FROM THE LIGHT OF ORDINARY DAYS
The Light of Ordinary Days is an intimate book I have just completed about my journey to reclaim my ancestral Irish homeland as well as my own soul. In October 2017, I read an excerpt at a beautiful event in honor of the publication of my friend and mentor Deena Metzger's novel A Rain of Night Birds.
